Gigi Causey & Andrew Bowler short film Time Freak was nominated for an Academy Award. Gigi Causey worked on George Ratlif f’s first narrative feature, Purgatory County. She went on to design projects for Bob Byington (Olympia) and Sandra Bullock (Trespasses) before moving to New York City, where she turned her creative energies toward line producing and production management. Some of Gigi’s recent film credits include Peter Sollett’s Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Amy Heckerling’s upcoming comedy, Vamps, and Daniel Espinosa’s Safe House. Gigi also worked as Director of Production at RDF Media USA NY, directly responsible for the oversight of the production of multiple pilots and new series. Her other television credits include Bravo’s award-winning Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Discovery Channel’s 13-part series, The Detonators, and truTV’s All Worked Up. Andrew Bowler has written several feature-length scripts that are currently in development with Three Arts Entertainment in Los Angeles. At Tisch School of the Arts, it was there that Andrew met the talented group of filmmakers(Geof frey Richman, award winning editor of Murderball,The Cove and The Virginity Hit and Adam Fleischhacker,director of May The Best Man Win) with whom he continues to collaborate today. He called on them once again to help with his short comedy, Time Freak.
