Shaun Cashman, a native of Connecticut and former newspaper ad designer and editorial illustrator, is an 18 year veteran of the television animation business and an Emmy-nominated and Annie Award-winning director and producer for shows such as The Simpsons for seven seasons where he worked as a character layout artist, animation timer, storyboard revisionist, assistant director and director (The 250th episode, "A Tale of Two Springfields") before directing for five seasons on "King of the Hill", where two of his episodes garnered nominations for Annie and Prism Awards. He was also supervising producer and director on the Cartoon Network series, "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy" (where he was nominated twice, winning once, for an Annie Award) and director on the series, "Chowder" and the The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy spin-off special, "Underfist: Halloween Bash". Shaun also directed the Frederator Studios/Random Cartoons short, "Fanboy", at Nickelodeon and was the supervising producer on the first season of the series "Fanboy and Chum Chum". Currently, he is directing on "The Penguins Of Madagascar" at Nickelodeon. Shaun credits his many years on "The Simpson's" as his schooling into the mechanics and aesthetics of production and the business and is forever grateful and thankful for being surrounded by some of the best artists and directors that helped him through his early days of finding his way.
