Jumping from drama to comedy and back again is one aspect of set decoration that comes naturally to Pascale, who has done her share of projects in each genre. In 2006, she was nominated for an Academy Award, alongside Production Designer Jim Bissell for their work (Best Achievement in Art Direction) for the George Clooney directed “Good Night & Good Luck”. The team was acknowledged also by the Art Directors Guild for their “Excellence In Production Design” Award. Among her other credits are another George Clooney-directed film, “Leatherheads”. On the serious side, she has decorated such films as “The Spiderwick Chronicles”, “Syriana” “Hollywood Homicide” and “Training Day”, and on the lighter side, “Four Christmases”, “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy”, “The Flintstones In Viva Rock Vegas” and Mel Brooks’ “Dracula: Dead & Loving It”. Known for her attention to detail, Pascale was awarded an Emmy , along with Production Designer Paul Eads and Art Director Mindy Roffman, for their work on the original high school sets for the television show “Boston Public” in 2001. Among her other notable television credits was an HBO special presentation “Lansky”, which covered the entire lifespan of the notorious Meyer Lansky, who helped propel gambling throughout this country and was partners with Lucky Luciano and Bugsy Mallone. Pascale is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and is one of the Founding Members of the Set Decorators Society of America. She served for many years as the Co-Executive Editor of SETDECOR, which she co-founded and developed with her colleague Set Decorator and Co-Executive Editor Rosemary Brandenburg and Editor Karen Burg. They are now publishing SETDECOR online. You can email your questions to 123FilmEasy@Gmail.com and we'll answer them "LIVE ON AIR." Link: www.123FilmEasy.com.
