Hope Hanafin, costume designer, has earned five Costume Designer Guild nominations one win and two Emmy nominations. New York Women in Film and Television honored Hope for career achievement. Her feature film credits include “500 days of Summer”, “Something New,” Because of Winn Dixie”, “Mortal Thoughts” and the “Air Up There” Included in the eight films she designed for HBO are “Lackawanna Blues”, “Warm Springs”, “Winchell” and ”A Lesson Before Dying” ”A theatre, opera and dance designer before turning to film, she holds an M.F.A. from N.Y.U. and is the current Vice President of the Costume Designers Guild.
