Kelly Port has contributed to more than twenty-five films in his sixteen years at Digital Domain. Most recently he served as Visual Effects Supervisor on Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief as well as The A-Team, which releases later this summer. Kelly’s previous work as visual effects supervisor includes J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino and the VES-nominated visual effects for We Own The Night, among other films. Kelly held the role of Associate Visual Effects Supervisor on Star Trek: Nemesis and Digital Effects Supervisor on Stealth, We Were Soldiers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Kelly’s contributions also span various artist and technical roles on King Kong, The Italian Job, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Red Planet, Supernova, Titanic, T2 3-D, Strange Days and Apollo 13. Before joining Digital Domain, Kelly held a wide range of post-production positions on film and television productions, and worked in feature film advertising and graphic design. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in the visual effects branch.
