Profile: Richard King-Sound Editor

In 2003, Richard received the Academy Award and the British Academy Award for sound design on MASTER & COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD. In 2005 he received an Academy Award nomination for his work on WAR OF THE WORLDS. In 2009 he was presented the Academy Award for sound editing on DARK KNIGHT. Richard has been fortunate to have worked with such directors as Nicolas Roeg, M. Night Shyamalan, Robert Altman, Paul Thomas Anderson, William Friedkin, Peter Weir, Steven Spielberg, and Christopher Nolan.
