He is the tennis Renaissance man who changed the way Americans view televised tennis. Steve Bellamy was sitting in his backyard contemplating the dearth of televised tennis when he decided to do something. Bellamy conceptualized and created Tennis Channel. He has been called the PT Barnum of tennis television — in addition to being an avid tennis player, coach, rock musician song writer and founder of the Ski Channel — and tomorrow on Open Tennis hosts Andres Borowiak and Wes Burrows welcome Bellamy to discuss his role as a tennis television visionary and his views on the state of the sport today.
