Today is a new week. The beginning of a New Month.
This is a Great time to take a look around and be thankful for what we have, even if it is just a simple meal, a purr of your cat, and your lungs with which to take another breath of air.
People are talking about change but no one leader is going to make that change...we need to make the difference in the lives of each other. We need to rise up like eagles, and run when we are tired, keep going.
We need to pray that God Blesses America, and all of the other places that he has made.
As I said in my other blog. I died. The doctors like to call it a Near Death
Experience....but when you touch death you learn something -- life is short and so wonderful we need to embrace every single moment of it.
I was a policeman at the time -- after I had left the military.
I went in a burning building....I think back to that day. I had no idea then that it would be a day that I would die.
Uncertainty in life should always cause us to pause, and revere the
God, the Creator, of our life and times.
That is what my book is about, second chances. The Lord gave me one ...and I am going to use the rest of my life to laugh and love as much as I can.
I hope the best for all of you.
I hope that you have a chance to love and be loved today.
